“The sun sets in the west, but Sunset Towers faces east. The unsuspecting residents of Sunset Towers are summoned to the reading of a mysterious will, only to find themselves locked in a thrilling game, as they discover who is responsible for killing an eccentric millionaire. Through blizzards, bombings, and unlikely alliances, the game is on, and the only people who hold all the clues are one Westing heir and you.”
When: Tuesday December 10 & Wednesday December 11 from 6:30-9:00 PM

Auditions Information: Please prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary monologue and be prepared to read from the script.

BARNEY NORTHRUP, 40s and up. Sunset Towers realtor
SANDY MCSOUTHERS, 40s and up. Befriends the heirs and oversees the game
TURTLE WEXLER, 12-15 years old. Female. Tomboy, adventurous, smart. Interested in the stock market. Likes to kick people.
GRACE WEXLER, early 40s. Female. Turtle and Angela’s mother. Social climber. Neurotic and self-absorbed.
ANGELA WEXLER, in her 20s. Female. Beautiful, reserved. Engaged to Denton Deere. Will also play “Violet Westing.”
DENTON DEERE, in his 20s. Male. Medical intern, engaged to Angela Wexler. A bit of a suck up.
SYDELLE PULASKI, 40s and up. Female. Overlooked and hungry for attention. Feigns a disease to get noticed.
BERTHE ERIKA “CROW,” 50s and up. Female. Ex-wife of Sam Westing and ex-alcoholic. Works in the soup kitchen.
FLORA MILLER BAUMBACH, 40s and up. Female. Timid. Kind. Smiles too much.
JUDGE J.J. FORD, 40s and up. Female. African American. Judge, tough but fair. Has a grudge against the Westing millionaire.
*DOUG HOO, in his late teens. Asian American. Athletic, has Olympic dreams. Male or female actors will be considered for this role.
*MR. HOO, in his 40s. Asian American. Doug’s father. Widowed. Owner of the failing Shin Hoo Restaurant. Tightly wound. Male or female actors will be considered for this role.
THEO THEODORAKIS, in his late teens. Male. Greek American. Wants to be a writer. His brother’s guardian. Sensitive, sometimes overly so.
CHRIS THEODORAKIS, in his mid teens. Male. Suffers from a neurological disease that confines him to his wheelchair. Barely able to speak or control body movements. Lonely.
OTIS AMBER, 60s and up. Male. Eccentric. Delivery “boy.” Jokes a lot and is not taken seriously.
*EDWARD PLUM, in his late 20s. An inexperienced lawyer and executor of the Westing will. Described as “alternately theatrical, hysterical, and bumbling.” Male or female actors will be considered for this role.
DR. SIDNEY SIKES, 50s and up. Male. Personal physician and friend of Sam Westing. Has a permanent limp.
